Growing up, Mom would say, "home is where your toothbrush is." My father, Colonel Cool, flew F1-11's in the US Air Force and we moved all the time!
After college, I spent 12 years in media and marketing in Manhattan at places like The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and a high-growth start-up. My job was coaching brands like IBM, Morgan Stanley, Whole Foods, and Red Bull on how to better connect with people.
I eventually got back to my roots in Louisiana. Grandma Cool is from St. Francisville, and something just felt right and familiar here. No joke, she used to mail Tony Chachere's across the Atlantic to us when we were stationed overseas.
I'm glad I found New Orleans when I did. I bought a house and met my husband, Matt Murphy, two months later. When you and I work together you'll meet Matt and likely our two furbabies Maddie & Wren too.
I love this city and I love being an ambassador to folks new to a neighborhood or to New Orleans. I also am profoundly good at helping people move on. Perhaps that's why I've become a French Quarter Realty Top Producer.
As for New Orleans? Every year here seems to bring further affirmation that my toothbrush and I have both found our home. Let's find yours!
